Henderson Learning Centre is a private family centre that focuses nurturing young children into confident and eager learners.
Henderson EarlyLearning Centre is a fun, energetic and loving place with a strong focus on education. We are committed to the holistic development of our children and have created exceptional programs for the enrichment of their body AND minds. Our highly experienced, dedicated and loving teaching team takes every opportunity to expand on children’s interests and this is complimented by our uniquely laid out, spacious indoor and outdoor settings.
Love & Belonging
It is only when a child feels loved and secure that he/she will then develop the confidence to build friendships, explore, and learn. Our teachers are hand-picked for their loving nature and sincerity to guide your child in having the sense of belongingness, making friends, and engaging in activities of his/her choice.
Teacher : Child Ratio
Our target ratio is 1 teacher to 4 children in the baby room and 1 teacher to 8 children in the preschool area. This quality low ratio allows our teachers to provide better focus and attention when looking after a smaller group of children.
Family Participation
We believe that family is one of the most essential elements in our Henderson Early Learning Centre Community as we continuously organise family events. Our Open Door Policy welcomes parents/guardians to freely discuss about your child’s learning and development with any of our staff at any time. You are also encouraged to participate in our daily activities and regular excursions. We work very closely with our parents/guardians to achieve the best outcome for our children’s development.
Children‘s Ages and Opening Hours
We cater for children between 0 and 5 years of age. We open from 7:00 to 6:00 Mondays to Fridays. We are closed for all statutory holidays.
Settling your child in:
Your emotional needs are of the utmost importance to us. We understand that leaving your precious child to new and unfamiliar faces can be difficult. With constant communication and proper guidance, we are confident that you and your child will be happy and settled with us over time.
We have highly experienced and compassionate full-time teachers to ensure our children are looked after by familiar faces who know them very well. We take pride in our low teacher to child ratio to meet the individual needs of our children. Our primary care giver policy will ensure that your child is well taken care of especially during the transition period.
We recommend two or more visits with your child before they start.
